Jessie Smith born 1910 was the daughter of daughter of Owen & Smith
Eric and Jessie were married in 1937. They moved into a new house on the Pink Road Lacey Green called Alverstoke.

"It is with great regret that we record the death of Mrs Jessie Boorman on Christmas Day, after 18 distressing months of not even knowing her closest loved ones. She was born in the parish at Parslows Hillock, and like her parents, became a staunch, active member of the Methodist Church. Very interested in all aspects of village life, She was for many years a member of the Women's Institute.
