Benjamin Saunders born 1847 was the son of William Saunders, born 1815 & Louisa, nee Lacey
Jane Ginger born 1841 was the daughter of John & Celia Ginger
Benjamin and Jane married in 1872.
Benjamin worked all his life at Speen Farm, first with his father, then with his brother George.
Benjamin died in October 1898 at Speen Farm aged 51 (Suicide by hanging).
Benjamin and Jane had one child as follows :-
William John Saunders born 1877 married Minnie Elizabeth May (a widow nee Barrett) in 1916. No children.
Probate. William John of Woodfield Cottage, Lacey Green, chairmaker died in 1950 at Stone Mental Hospital leaving £2,780-18s-11d. His executor was John William Saunders, his cousin. See John William Saunders & Elizabeth Daisy Dell
