Ruth Turvey born 1881 at Speen was the daughter of George & Annie Turvey
In 1891 the Atkins family was living at Piggotts Common and the Turvey family were living at the adjacent hamlet of Denner Hill.
Alfred and Ruth married in 1902 and moved to Turnip End.
