Sophia Hawes born 1824 was the daughter of John Hawes and his wife
William and Sophia married in 1847 at Hillingdon
By 1861 Joseph and Jane Floyd were trading as grocers, renting the cottage owned and built by William Floyd on the site of the old smithy in Church Lane, Lacey Green, opposite Lane Farm. William Floyd lived at Lane Farm and was Joseph and Jane's son. See William and Sophia Floyd
