I have lived in the village for nearly 30 years with my wife Candy - my children have now grown up and moved on.  Over the years I have had a variety of roles in various village organisations, been a School Governor at St John's and twice been Chairman of Village Day.  I have also been involved from the beginning in the development of the village website.

For the past year I have been shadowing Norman and assisting him with editing Hallmark.  I must give him my thanks for the time he has taken to train me up and to affect a smooth handover.  Though I have some ideas of how I would like to develop Hallmark in the future I do not plan to make any radical changes to what is already a very successful publication.  Click [[Norman & Bette Tyler]] for their life stories

However, I work full time in London and will not be able to get to village events during the day.  So I am looking for one or more Contributing Authors who can write articles for publication.  These contributions could be attending events and reporting the news, or a more investigative role by doing some research into the people, organisations and history that make up our village and writing articles on them.  So if you feel you could do a bit of amateur journalism please contact me for a chat. {{Person
