John's parents, Jonathan and Fanny married in 1858. They had 5 children, Jane born 1859, Dayman 1861, John 1872, William 1875, Horace 1879.
Laura born 1872 was the daughter of Jabez Dormer born 1841 and Ruth, nee Hammond born 1843. Laura's grandfather was James Dormer born 1805.
