Absalom Lacey was born in 1795
Harriot Hammon was born in 1794
Absalom and Harriot married in 1816. They lived at Bottom Field Loosley Row.
Absalom and Harriot had 6 children as follows :-
Deborah Lacey born 1817 married Abel Gomme in 1836
Jonah Lacey born 1821 married Jane Coster Steel in 1847. See Jonah & Jane Lacey
Louisa Lacey born 1822 married William Saunders in 1839. See William Saunders, born 1815 & Louisa, nee Lacey
Alfred Lacey born 1824. Remained single. (cripple) Lodged with Edmonds, then Currells. Died 1886 in workhouse, stone breaker.
Jeremiah Lacey born 1829 married twice. 1st in 1851 to Louisa Goodchild, died 1853. 2nd in 1855 to Freedom Buckland. Then family moved away.
Mary Lacey born 1843.
