1934 John William Saunders. Chairman
1935 from the Parish Council records :- "Proposed by Councillor Parslow, seconded by Councillor Wood, that the following persons be nominaed to serve as Parish Constable for the ensuing year. Messrs Sidney Hickman, Sydney Henry Janes, Ernest Edward Anderson (Junior) and Ernest Frank Rixon.
Research Notes. These 4 annually elected men were qualified and liable to serve as constabes, if called upon.
