Caroline Smith born 1885 was the daughter of Albert & ? Smith

Albert James Rutland died 1st October 1918, WW1, aged 34. He was a private in the The Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment, 7th Battalion. He lived at Park Farm, Naphill, Bucks.

He was buried in Unicorn Cemetery, Vend'huile, Aisne, France. Grave IV D 2.

Caroline Rutland did not remarry.

In the 1939 Register (census) Caroline was living at Waddesden View no 1, Loosley Row, aged 54. With her were daughter Nancy aged 14 office worker, Albert Smith her father, 73 invalid and William Smith 17.

Caroline died 20th April 1966, still living at 1 Waddesden View.
