Horace Rixon born 1891 was the son of Edwin & Clara Rixon at no 2 Parslows Hillock Cottages.

His parents were Edwin Rixon born 1866 and Clara, nee Dormer born 1871. His grandparents were George Rixon and Emma Rixon, nee Emma Lane who lived at No 1 Clovelly Cottages.

Horace's mother Clara was the daughter of Eli Dormer 1831- 1920 and Mary A. nee Williams, born Flowers Bottom, the daughter of James Williams, stonecutter.
