William Harry Saunders born 1889 was the son of William Saunders & Bethia Janes

Pamela Saunders born 1892 was the daughter of Noah & Pamela Saunders

Harry and Pamela married in 1912

Harry and Pamela had 4 children all born in Bradenham as follows :-

Ellen Eileen Saunders born 1914 married George William Ray in 1940

Marjorie Rose Saunders born 1915 married Ernest William Goodchild in 1940

Joan Winifred Saunders born 1919 married Norman George Turner

Evelyn Pamela Saunders born 1923 married Frederick Roland Walker in 1942

Researcher's note. Harry worked for his father. William was very strong willed and no doubt difficult and certainly unlikely to retire, although he had built Hillcrest House, Goodacres Lane supposedly for his retirement.  Life was not easy for Harry.  However he made a very happy marriage with Pamela (Pammie) Saunders from Bradenham.  They had four daughters, themselves happily married, when Harry was devastated by the death of his wife in a car crash, tragically driven by his son-in-law in 1948.
