Frederick William Floyd, born 1871 was the son of Peter and Ann Floyd, of Floyds Farm, Lacey Green.
In 1905 he married Caroline Emma Saunders, known as "Carrie".
Carrie born 1880 was the daughter William and Bethia Saunders
Fred and Carrie had 1 child. Harry George Floyd born 1906.
Carrie died in 1908 aged 28, when Harry was 2 yrs old.
Harry was brought up by his grandparents William and Bethia.
