John Floyd born 1820 was the son of Joseph Floyd and Jane, nee Tyler. Joseph & Jane Floyd

Mary Ann Cook born 1815 came to Lacey Green in service at Grymsdyke, from Thorncombe on the Devon/Dorset border.

John and Mary Ann married in 1843

They had 5 children as follows :-

Jane Floyd born 1843

Mary Ann Floyd born 1845

Albert Joseph Floyd born 1847

Elizabeth Amelia Floyd born 1848, died 1849.
