John Floyd born 1820 was the son of Joseph Floyd and Jane, nee Tyler
Mary Ann Cook born 1815 came to Lacey Green in service at Grymsdyke, from Thorncombe on the Devon/Dorset border.
John and Mary Ann married in 1843
They had 5 children as follows :-

Mary Ann Floyd born 1845
Albert Joseph Floyd born 1847
Elizabeth Amelia Floyd born 1848, died 1849.
