Ashlea was built on the west side of the Main Road, Lacey Green,Bill DellPhyllis DellCoronation Cottages next to the turning into Westlands Road.
1939 Register (census). Ashlea, Main Road, Lacey Green. Ernest Oakford born 1911, chairmaker, and his wife, Rosalind Sophia Oakford, born 1913, (daughter of Walt & Ruth Ginger.
