The last burn of bricks was in 1963 when [https://laceygreenhistory.com/w/index.php/Archibald_Charles_Bristow Archibald Charles Bristow] (known as Ben) retired. Two houses were built with the bricks from this for May Ashdown and Beryl Highgate two of his daughters.  They faced the Main Road at Walters Ash. to the north side of the entrance to Walters Ash Farm.  Last Burn  to the south of Quarryfield was next to the farm entrance.

The last burn of bricks was in 1963 when Archibald Charles Bristow (known as Ben) retired. Two houses were built with the bricks from this for May Ashdown and Beryl Highgate two of his daughters. They faced the Main Road at Walters Ash. to the north side of the entrance to Walters Ash Farm. Last Burn to the south of Quarryfield was next to the farm entrance.
