Sadly, many previous committee members have passed away; but for those of us that had the privilege to work alongside them, they are not forgotten. It’s a very different world today compared to 1999 when the ‘new’ hall opened. | ||

Entertainment House was developed by Clive Hodghton in 'Wembley', the home of Hickmans Stores.
A NEW SHOP “ENTERTAINMENT HOUSE” opened in Lacey Green in 1999.

DJ IN 1980. Clive Houghton started a DJ business part-time in 1980, becoming full time in 1992. Being a DJ three nights a week and buying and selling equipment from his mother’s home in Flackwell Heath. By 1999 it had grown so much it was time to get a shop. He came to Lacey Green.

This will be my 23rd A.G.M as booking secretary. As I reflect back, it is with great pride that such a village resource has been and, is so well used. Sadly, many previous committee members have passed away; but for those of us that had the privilege to work alongside them, they are not forgotten. It’s a very different world today compared to 1999 when the ‘new’ hall opened.
