Gerald, who was known to many of us in the village as our local plumber was also an ardent supporter of the village hall. He gave many hours of his own time, over many years, to help with the refurbishment of the roof, the renovation of the kitchen and was to always on hand to carry out the numerous plumbing jobs.
Gerald was a real professional, always finding a way to do some of the most difficult jobs. Gerald’s presence, his help and support was a great loss when he finally stood down from the Village Hall Committee. He will be sadly missed.
