William Dormer born 1797 was the son of Joseph & Mary Dormer
William Dormer married 3 times
1st marriage to Elizabeth Rippington in 1819. Elizabeth died in 1821.
2nd marriage to Leah Grimsdale in 1822.
1 daughter Mary Dormer born 1806, died 1887. Leah died 1831.
3rd marriage to Mary Crook, widow. in 1832.
William and Mary had 5 children as follows :-
Roseanna Dormer born 1833 married John Lovegrove from Chalfont St Giles in 1854
