At the above Committee Meeting, it was proposed by F Baker, seconded by E Oakford that Dr Bliadon be asked to stand as President, Mr Laidler having been unwilling to accept that office.
It was also proposed by E Oakford, seconded by F Baker that Mr Anthony Adams should fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr Boorman our late Treasurer, Mr Adams kindly accepted this post.
Proposed by W Redrup, seconded by F Baker that the Secretary should again write to the Air Ministry regarding the ground.
Mr W Redrup and three members of the Committee agreed to inspect and purchase if suitable, cricket equipment from Miles Aircraft Ltd.
It was proposed by Mr Arch Adams, seconded by W Dell that a Social Evening be organised to start the Club Funds. A further meeting was arranged for Tuesday December 4th to go into his matter.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chairman Mr J Saunders.

A General Meeting was held in the Village Hall to decide if to run a Football Club
After some discussion it was decided to do so. It was proposed by E. Oakford, seconded by B. Dell that we make application for entry t the High Wycombe & District combination.
The following offices were elected,
Mr A Stevens -- Match Secretary
Mr S Goodchild -- Captain
Mr C Currell -- Vice Captain
Selection Committee -- S Goodchild, C Currell, A Stevens, B Dell and F Chilton.
Proposed by A Stevens, secretary, seconded by E Oakford that subscription be 5/-, members under 18, 3/-.
After much discussion it was decided that if the boys could raise a team they should enter the Minor League.
The question of equipment and shirts, colours, etc was left to a later meeting to enable Mr Stevens to contact the League Secretary.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the chairman.
