Joshua Dell born 1757 married twice
In 1790 to Mary Parslow. She died in1794. Their daughter Margaret also died in 1794, aged 3.
In 1795 to Elizabeth Stone, widow, born 1746, died 1829.
TENANCY GIFT.
Elizabeth was the customary tenant of the Manor of Princes Risborough for the later named Floyds Farm. She gave this tenancy to her husband Joshua.

Joshua is awarded two allotments in the enclosures
1. Number 678a. House, garden and close (field). It is copyhold, (rented from the Manor). It is an old allotment, so would already have been occupied by Joshua. These premises later became known as ‘Floyds Farm’.
2. Number 702. House and Garden. Freehold. This is also an old allotment, so would already have been occupied by Joshua. These premises later became known as ‘The Crown Inn’. click The Crown for more info.
LET TO BROTHER,THOMAS DELL
Joshua was renting the property, later known as Floyds Farm, from the . This he sub-let to his brother Thomas Dell snr. for £80 per annum. Thomas died in 1811 and the new sub-tenant was Thomas Tilbury

Joshua and Elizabeth moved to Parsonage Farm, Saunderton, sub-letting Floyds Farm.
