Joseph Dormer 1860-1862 and Emma Ginger, born 1862 were the respective children of George Dormer 1835-1922 and Ann, nee Tyler 1834- 1898

Peter Oliver Dormer 1881-1963. Married 1905 Florence R Dormer, born 1885. They were not closely related. 1939 Register, 'living Deep Vale' Loosley Row.

George Dormer 1884-1918. Married 1908 Ethel Leah Rutland 1885-1965. They had 2 children, as follows ---

George's Children. Jesse born April 1916 and Leah Georgina born January 1919. (Her father had been killed 4 months previously)

George Dormer died WW1 on 6th September 1918. Wounded in Flanders, France. He was a gunner in the Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Field Artillery.

Buried Lebucquiere Communal Cemetery Extension. Grave II.H.4.
