Frances was a physiotherapist. She trained and worked at High Wycombe. There she became friends with Val Jourdan, also a physiotherapist, a friendship that lasted all her life. click Martin & Val Jourdan for more about Val.
Frances went many times to Palestine working for the charity ABCD, which was founded by Val Jourdan, for which she was awarded MBE, treating disabled children and helping unmarried mothers and their families.
in 2025 Val Jourdan wrote of Frances in a letter to me -
