1934 John William Saunders, Chairman.
1935 from the Parish Council records :- "Proposed by Councillor Parslow, seconded by Councillor Wood, that the following persons be nominated to serve as Parish Constable for the ensuing year. Messrs Sidney Hickman, Sydney Henry Janes, Ernest Edward Anderson (Junior) and Ernest Frank Rixon.
Research Notes. These 4 annually elected men were qualified and liable to serve as constabes, if called upon. The power to appoint ParishConstables was based on an Act of 1852 to ensure that the local military organisation of the country was efficient, later the constable became more identified with the preservaton of law and order. The position was abolished in 1955.

Donald Elliott White (Don White) joined the Council in1979 as an independent member for Speen. becoming Chairman in 1984 until he retired in 2007. (Click Don & Mollie White for more of Don's history)
Hallmark June 1983. Parish Council Election. All councillors were returned unapposed. They were :-
Kathleen Church. Lionel Ellis, Ray Gosling, Sylvia Hewinson, Ted Janes, Brian Panter and Don White. click Kathleen Church, Lionel Ellis, Ray & Sylvia Hewinson, Ted & Jean Janes, Brian & Nell Panter, and Don & Mollie White for more about these councillors.
1985 Dennis Claydon. Persuaded by outgoing Ted Janes (told by Ted to Joan West). Dennis served for over 25 years, many of them as Deputy Chairman, until his death in 2015, he reported in Hallmark on 6 occasions.
Ray Gosling. Jimmy Grafton, George Ward, Brian Panter, Tony Molesworth and Madeline Tate were also on the Parish Council during this time. Ray reported in Hallmark in 12 issues, Jimmy Grafton in 3, Don White (Chairman) twice, George Ward twice, Brian Panter twice, Tony Molesworth four times and Madeline Tate once. In the 1990s Tim Shreeve and Linda Moorcroft also reported in Hallmark on behalf of the Parish Council.
