'''Started in 1978''' by a group of ladies to make money for the [[Village Hall]], and to supply the need for visitors to the Windmill and Home of Rest for Horses, but also enjoyed by local people who go out for a walk and then call at the hall, for a nice pot of tea, a home-made cake or scone.

We need volunteers to man the fort (two persons each Sunday) from 2.30 until 5 o'clock.
