[[File:West Wycombe High Street Late 1800s.jpg|thumb]]West Wycombe was the village in which [[Dick & Hilda West]] met and married.  Dick was born at Myze Farm, just on the edge of the village and worked with his father there until he married in 1934.  Hilda lived at Wheeler End, a village just above West Wycombe, to which she brought her horse down to be shod.   She met Dick at the blacksmith's.
