William Ralph Gomme was the son of John Gomme, engineer and iron founder, born 1865 and Alice Frances, nee Butt, born 1865 Westbourne Park, London.
William Ralph's parents John and Alice Gomme lived on Mill Road (later called Main Road) Lacey Green. They had 6 children, as follows ----
John Gomme 1890-? Emigrated to Canada. Returned in 1956 for a two month visit to Harrow, where his widowed mother and sister Dorothy were living.
