Tony & Janet Reed moved into Roundlands, Lacey Green 1967
1955-57 RAF National Service. Tony's career prior to and details of his National Service are listed under RAF Local Residents.
In 1958 Tony moved jobs to BEA (British European Airways) as an electrical draughtman.
Whilst working for BEA he met and married Janet and shortly after that they moved to Hughenden and he changed jobs to work for Perkin Elmer at Beaconsfield, working on instrumental design and manufacture. He retired from there after 27 years.

Tony Reed was the representative for the Parish Council on the Village Hall Committee in 1979
1984 in Hallmark the editor published the following :-
It's becoming a habit to congratulate 18 year old Christine Reed of Roundlands.
In 1975 it was because she won a competition for a holiday to Disney Land
Again in 1982 for winning her Queen's Guide Award
Now in 1984 for being voted runner-up in the London and South East Region section of the 1984 Dista Awards for Young Arthritics.
"Christine has fought a courageous battle against Rheumatoid Arthritis since she was three, a great example to all of us with aches and complaints. The award was presented in London by Terry Wogan".
