We are looking for new members. We chat while we exercise. You have to bend, walk and carry weights albeit not very heavy. You also have to think, the way we play knowing when it's your turn can be problematic. Isn't this all supposed to be good for longevity?
After this 2-3 hour work-out there is no guarantee you will live longer but it should put life in your years.
Disabled - the rules allow you to sit and bowl or even use a launcher. For those that can't bend we have a tool that extends your reach to pick up the bowls. So no excuses, this is good for you.
We meet every Monday afternoon at 2pm in the Village Hall - come and give it a go with no obligation to come again - you will need footwear that hasn't been worn outside or just socks.
