She was Editor of Hallmark from ? to ? with assistant edditors Janet Carter, Norman Tyler and Gordon Lennard.

Pat Slade, Editor of Hallmark, added the following comment to an article in August 1997.

How long do you have to be in the village to become an old timer? Am I a new comer or even an outsider? I moved to Lacey Green in 1984 - had joined our first organisation within one month and was on my first committee within three months - that being the very first Village Day - "New blood, new ideas" I was told -"the older members wanted to take a back sear" but we were always prepared to listen to anyone - new or old timers with new ideas or experiencesof the past.

I now live in Princes Risborough but am still very much involved in the village life of Lacey Green and Loosley Row which I believe is a great community and where I have made many friends.

I am currently involved in the Village Hall Rebuild - "Project 2000". This, as you know, is going well and it is only due to the support we have received from all the organisations and many individals "pulling together"to raise the money required.
