McMillan Coffee Morning

Our contribution of £471 with 82 signatures as a wonderful effort which was much appreciated by the East Midlands Appeal Office - it will help many cancer sufferers.

Seventy eight people attended our local effort. This was a little down on 1993 but many people were not able to attend gave donations to help the McMillan nurses in their untiring work.

Thanks to all who helped in any way, I am able to send £471.22p to the funds, as a result of this great effort by all our helpers.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the Coffee Morning at the Chapel on Friday 2nd October. Very many thanks also to all the people who could not be there but sent such geneous contributons. It was a great success - and as many people said, a happy gathering.

It raised a remarkable total pf £456.
