Frederick Aldridge Clark was the executor for Charles Brown of Stocken Farm.
MARCH 9th 1881. Charles Brown left his estate to be divided between his three nieces. He had already sold Stocking (Stocken Farm.) Fourteen cottages were independently estimated as worth £971–13s-10d
CONVEYANCE FEBRUARY 22nd 1886. All fourteen cottages were purchased for £971–13s–10d by Frederick Aldridge Clark. The proceeds divided between the three nieces.
CONVEYANCE OF GIFT 1894. Frederick Aldridge Clark put the 14 cottages in trust for his daughter, Margaret Emma Clark, one of Charles Brown’s nieces.
MARRIAGE NOVEMBER 21st 1895
Margaret Emma Clark married The Most Honourable John Henry, Marquis of Ely. Thus becoming the Marchioness of Ely.
