Indenture dated 30th April 1658 – Ralph Adeane and Henry Franklin
NOTES
- Due to the unusual hand writing this Indenture has been difficult to transcribe.
- It appears to a document which describes Henry Franklin of Speen renting farm land in Speen from Ralph Adeane of Middlesex.
- The size of the land and or buildings are not mentioned and it is possible that Henry Franklin already occupied them.
- The rent is difficult to identify but it was three pounds something per year.
- It was obviously land on which corn was grown and tythes paid.
- Names of persons mentioned in the document:
- Ralph Adeane – Middlesex
- Henry Franklin - Speen
