We welcome Janet Carter as our new secretary, taking over from Jeanette Peattie who we sincerely thank for all her time and energy spent on behalf of the Village Hall over the last three years.

2016 Death of Jeanette Peattie. Jane Tyrer wrote for Hallmark - Readers will be saddened to learn of the death on 21st May of Jeanette Peattie formerly of Forge Cottage Loosley Row, after a short illness.

Before her move to Kent she was a familiar sight in the village walking her beloved dogs, the latest of which had died shortly before her own illness.

She is survived by her sons Martin and Andrew.
