James Williams 1849-1897, was the son of Cornelius Williams 1827-1875, of Flowers Bottom and Mary, nee Ridgley 1826-1907, born at Piggotts Common.

Children

James Williams 1849-1897 born at Flowers Bottom, chairmaker. In 1872 James married Miriam Jane Biggs from Speen

Joshua Williams 1851-? born at Flowers Bottom, blacksmith. In 1874 Joshua married Emma Brown born West Wycombe. They lived in Walters Ash.

Jesse Williams 1853-? born Flowers Bottom, stonemason, married Catherine 'Kate' Dyball, born in Old Swindon.

Julia Jane Williams 1856-1924 born Flowers Bottom. In 1879 Julia married Henry Williams 1855-1893, born Flowers Bottom, stonecutter. Henry Williams was the son of Reuben and Rosetta Williams. Reuben was a flint and stone worker at Denner Hill. In 1911 Julia 56, now a widow, was living at Pond Cottage, Lacey Green, she was a laundress for Grymsdyke House. With her was her son Alexander 'Alec' Harry, 24, a gardener.

Note. Both Julia and Henry were great grandchildren of Joseph Williams, born 1765 at Darvills Hill and his wife Elizabeth, nee Dorsett born 1769.

Daisy Annie Williams born 1885 at Great Hampden. In 1885 married William Harry Rutland.

Alexander Harry Williams born 1887 at Great Hampden. Died 25th August 1917 WW1. He was a private in the 13th Battalion, Middlesex Regiment
