James Williams born 1849 at Flowers Bottom, was the son of Cornelius & Mary Williams
Miriam Jane Biggs born 1852 was the daughter of George & Elizabeth Biggs
James and Miriam married in 1872
James and Miriam had 3 children as follows :-
Minnie Rose Williams born 1873 married Harry Joseph Mills from London in 1895. Lived at Winnersh, Nr. Reading
Elizabeth Winifred Williams born 1875 married Joseph Leonard Hickman in 1896. They lived in High Wycombe. They had a daughter Hilda May Hickman, born 1898. Joseph died in 1898 so Elizabeth and Hilda went back to live with Miriam, newly widowed.
Cornelius Williams born 1877 married Julia Dormer in 1901. click Cornelius & Julia Williams for their life story.
James Williams born 1849 died 1897 aged 48. James listed in census as a bodger (chair leg turner)
Bucks Free Press 11th May 1934. Mrs Williams 83 of Flowers Bottom Cottage, Speen - one of the few remainingmakers of Bucks Pillow Lace, a specimen of whose work has been accepted by the Queen.
