No 3 Hillock Cottages was one of a terrace of four, facing onto Lily Bottom Lane, Parslows Hillock. For the history of Hillock Cottages see Hillock Cottages 1-4. Reg Tilbury bought all 4 cottages in 1927. His father Eldred Tilbury moved from Hillock Cottages no 1 to no 3 with his wife Mary Ann. Reg kept nos 1 and 2 himself, his son Doug Tilbury moved into no 2 when he married Kathleen.
