Harry died in 1964 at The Bunch, Woodway, Loosley Row.

'Pop' died in 1982 at Greenlands no 4. Tribute in Hallmark by Harry Church. -

"Mrs Amelia Parslow. Known to friends and relatives as 'Pop'. she came from the village of Owlswick, which is near Longwick, marrying Harry Parslow, who at one time lived in a small bungalow which used to stand where the entrance to Messrs Dell's building yard now is. Her husband, who died in 1964, was at the time a member of my staff at Bomber Command, so I have had many years association with the family

They had two children, Douglas and Dorothy, who are extremely well known for their contribution to our village life.

I am very gratified by the many tributes various people have expressed to me, especially emphasizing the quiet unassuming manner, combined with the complete honesty and trustworthiness of all the family, be it at work or play.

'Pop' could well be called 'a quiet woman', but what tremendous influence that quietness engendered."
