Harold Frederick Rixon born 1903 was the son of Leonard & Edith Rixon
Elsie Miriam Williams, known as Elsie or 'Kit', born 1904 was the daughter of Cornelius & Julia Williams
Harold (Nibby) and Elsie married in 1926.

1942 Joined the RAF, after service in the Princes Risborough Fire Brigade
7th July 1942 - arrived for basic training a RAF Cardington, Bedfordshire
July 1942 - He was posted to a base near Yarmouth, from where a report was sent to Bomber Command that the training was too hard for him (he was nearly 40 & too old for a flying position))
Harold received a letter back, dated 16th July from Bomber Command suggesting he could specialise in some other role.
His role was decided and he spent the remainder of the war, working there on maintenance of buildings and the market garden that produced food for the base.
7th January 1946. His RAF Certificate of Release read - H.F. Rixon. 2.7.42 to 7.1.46. "This airman has been under my command for approximately three years, during which time he has been employed as a gardener on the Unit Gardens. He has always been punctual and most reliable and is a very good workman, with special aptitude for gardening.
Death May 1974 Elsie Miriam Rixon of Pond Cottage no 2, Lacey Green.
Hallmark August 1991. notice. It is with regret we have to report the death of Harold (Nibby) Rixon, aged 88, on the 22nd July. One of Lacey Green's all time great cricketers.
