Elizabeth Annie Janes, born 1849, was one of the five children of Jacob Janes and Hannah, nee Stone. Abel George Janes born 1841 was one of her brothers (click George Janes for his life history) also (click Families with Fallen WW1 for others lost in WW1) George lost 2 sons and Elizabeth also lost a son, see below.

Children
John Saunders Janes born 1868. He moved to Reading when he married.
Ivor born 1872, died 1918.
1885 Marriage
Elizabeth Annie married in 1885 to William Keen from Naphill. They then lived in Naphill. Ivor joined the army. When visiting his married mother in Naphill he is registered in the census as a 'boarder'.
Death WW1
Ivor died May 1918 'of wounds' in Flanders. He was a private in the Duke of Cambridge Own (Middlesex) Regiment. 21st Battalion. See Families with Fallen WW1
