Chamonix.

Chamonix was the last bungalow on the south side of Kiln Lane. It was converted to a maisonette by Dennis Claydon

Dennis Claydon was born at Chamonix. He died there in 2015 He lived there with his father Joe and mother Criscilla till he was 5 when his mother died. Joe remarried when Dennis was 10, to Evangeline Harbour.

Hallmark February 1994. Obituary of Mrs Claydon. report by Kathleen Church. Mrs Claydon of 'Chamonix', Kiln Lane was for 36 years secretary to the Church Council of the Lacey Green Methodist Church. So members and friends experienced a great loss by her sudden death. Mrs Claydon was well known in Methodist circles as local representative to High Wycombe Circuit meetings. Relatives and friends travelled conssiderable distances to join the large congregation at the funeral service conducted by the Reverend David Stringer. Tea was served at the church by the women's fellowship. At the time o bereavement and sorrow, we offer Dennis our condolences.
