Brian Lunn became Secretary of the Village Hall Committee in 1879 taking over from Vera Griffiths (click Vic & Vera Griffiths for more about Vera)

In 1981 Brian became the Treasurer of the Village Hall Committee, a position he held until 1995.

Hallmark February 1989. Our treasurer Brian Lunn has recently retired after 44 years service with the same firm. He joined the firm of R M Blaikie as a 16 year old clerk and apart from his war service has spent all his working life (now a rare feat) with this firm of Chartered Accountants to which he became a partner.

His retirement will give him more time for his hobbies, and to audit the accounts of most of the local organisations, a task he has already performed for many years.

We wish Brian all the very best in his retirement years.
