Benjamin Ridgley born circa 1831 in Speen was the son of Absolom & Mary Ridgley

Emma Page born 1832 was from Hugheden

Benjamin and Emma married in 1856. They had 4 children, Allan born 1857, Elizabeth born 1860, Caroline born 1863 & Ellen born 1865.

In 1866 Benjamin, a widower married Sarah Penn

The total children were as follows :-

Allan Ridgley born 1857 married Annie Keen in 1877. Cecil B Ridgley in 1878 and William Ridgley in 1884 born locally. Six more children born in Uxbridge.

Elizabeth Ridgley born 1860. Elizabeth remained single living with her father.

Caroline Ridgley born 1863 married Robert Green in 1882. In the census of 1891, 1901 & 1911 both her father Benjamin and single sister Elizabeth are with her and her husband in Bell Street Princes Risborough. Also with them in 1891 is a niece Emma Ridgley aged 9, born 1882 at Culverton Mill, home then of sisters Elizabeth and Ellen - both single.

Ellen Ridgley born 1865 married Edwin William Small in 1882. Thought to have emigrated.

Owen Ridgley born 1868. Died 1867 aged 13.

John Ridgley born 1869 married Elizabeth Crook in 1898. They lived in Horns Lane Princes Risborough. John died aged 80.
