Abstract of Title. 13 April 1872. Henry Janes, grocer and baker of Loosley Row took out a mortgage with Mary Stratton of Princes Risborough and Thomas Wooster of Wendover farmer, for £700 on two properties.

1. 2 fields of arable land called 'Middle Ground 7 acres 3 roods 20 perches, and Brick Kiln Ground, 8 cres 1 rood 13 perches, together with the premises on Middle Ground, all which were occupied by Henry Janes. Also an unlimited right of way over a certain way which led out of Lacey Green to the east of a field called 'Pond Piece'. (note. This way later became Kiln Lane)
2. Also a Cottage and Garden at Loosley Row.
