Indenture dated 8th December 1658 – Ralph Adeane and Thomas Saunders/William Abraham

THIS INDENTURE made the eight day of December in the yeare of our Lord God according to the accompt used in England one thousand six hundred and fifty and eight BETWEENE Ralph Adeane of Princes Risborough in the County of Bucks of the one parte and Thomas Saunders of ? ? in the County of Middlesex Esq and William Abraham of Wingrave in the said County of Bucks gent on the other parte WITNESSETH that the said Ralph Adeane for and in consideration of the sume of five shillings of good and lawfull money of England to him in hand paid by the said Thomas Saunders and William Abraham at and before the ensealing and delivery of these present’d the receipt whereof ? the said Ralph Adeane doth by these presente confesse and acknowledge and for divers other goods and valuable causes and consideration of him the said Ralph Adeane there unto especially moving HATH granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Thomas Saunders and William Abraham all that the capital messuage or mansion house of him the said Ralph Adeane with the appurtenances situate lying and being in Princes Risborough in the said County of Bucks commonly called or known by the name of Brooke House and which now is or lately was in the tenure possession or occupation of him the said Ralph Adeane his assignee or assignes undertenant or undertenants together with all and singular the houses outhouses barnes stables dovehouse edifices buildings orchards gardens yards and curtilage whatsoever to the said Messuage or Mannor house belonging or anywise apperteyning and also all those severall closes and inclosures of pasture ground next adjoining to the said capital Messuage or Mansion house called Brooke house commonly called or known by the name of Canons Scituate lying and being in Princes Risborough afore said containing by estimation thirty acres be the same more or lesse and which now is or lately were in the tenure possession or occupation of Thomas Coltard his assignee or assignes lessees or undertenants and all that peece and parcell of arable land sometime heretofore woodground commonly called or known by the name of Stockings farme containing by estimation three score and fifteen acres bee it more or lesse situate and being in Princes Risborough aforesaid now or late in the terme possession or occupation of Edward Stone and Elizabeth Lacy widow or one of them their or one of their assignee or assignes lessees or undertenants and all that parcel of arable land called the ? land belonging and apperteyning to the Rectory and Parish Church of Princes Risborough in the said County of Bucks situate lying and being in the common fields of Princes Risborough aforesaid containing by estimation fourer score and tenn acres bee it more or lesse now or lately in the tenure possession or occupation of the said Thomas Coltard his assignee or assignes lessees or undertenants and one moyety and full halfe partre of all the tenths of tithes of what kind ? or quality so ever they bee and of all oblacons  obremons within the parish of Princes Risborough aforesaid and the bounds limits and tithing places of the said parish any ? yearly growing renewing arising or happening and to the said Rectory of the parish of Princes Risborough aforesaid belonging or appurtenances and the revertion and revertions remainder and remainders together with the rents and profitts of the premisses and of every parte and parcell thereof TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said cappitall messuage or mansion house lands tenements ? here ditaments and that one month full halfe parte of all the aforesaid tithes tenths oblations obventions and all and singular ? the premisses and every and parcel of the same with there and every parte of there rights members and appurtenances whatsoever unto the said Thomas Saunders and William Abraham their executors administrators and assignes from the day before the date hereof for and during the tenure of one whole yeare from thence next ensewing and fully to be expired compleat and ended YEILDING and paying therefore the rent of one pepper corne att the feast of St Michaell the Archangell only if the same bee demanded to the intent that by vertue of these prefered and of the statute for transferring of uses into possession the said Thomas Saunders and William Abraham may bee in the actual possession of the premisses and bee enabled to accept a grant of the ? and inheritance thereof to them and their heires to such uses and purposes in and by such grant shall declared or limited IN WITNES whereof
