Hallmark November 2021. Lane Farm Tea and Music. Reported by Rosemary Oliver

What a lovely afternoon Sept 18 was for the musical afternoon and tea in the beautiful garden of Lane Farm in Church Lane.

The event was run in aid of St. John’s Organ Restoration Fund. It was a very happy and successful occasion, raising around £1,500, and producing enough to pay the remainder of the amount which was needed for the restoration.

Thanks must go to the family who live at Lane Farm, to the musicians, and to the many people who helped with the tea, the tickets and the raffle, but most of all to all who supported the afternoon. I think everyone had a good time, and I look forward to welcoming them to church to celebrate the return of our ancient, rare and sweet sounding Samuel Green Organ, when it is returned to us next year.
