GATHERING IN A FIELD.

Our own celebrations seemed to be enjoyed by the gathering of about 500.

Thanks must go to Peter Green and his committee for all the arrangements, the additional people who worked on the day, making the bonfire, setting up the fireworks, serving refreshments, to Mrs Mary and Mr. Frank Hickman for the use of the field, so ideal for the occasion, and to all who subscribed to the collection.

A small surplus will be used for a permanent memory of the day.
