Sunday School anniversary services were conducted by Mr Ronald Crook at 11 a.m., Rev. H Pettit at 2.30 p.m. Two young friends, Brenda and Guy, came from Oxford to sing and play guitars at the evening service. Throughout the day the children contributed many items. As well as the hymns and songs they had learned, they recited poems and played recorders. Graham Stansfield made his debut as a soloist at Sunday School. Recitations were given by Julie, Wendy, Shirley and Sally May, Anne Kelloway, Sandra Knowles, Tanya Stevens, Louise and Victoria Mahoney, Lucille and Kerry Attridge, Lucinda and Amanda Evans, Ian and Jacqueline Bowler.
