This indenture was made 8th December 1658 between Ralph Adeane of Princes Risborough and Thomas Saunders Esq of Middlesex and William Abraham of Wingrave, Bucks, gent.

Witnesses that Ralphe Adeane (Lord of the Manor) for five shillings sold Brooke House, Princes Risborough, lately in his occupation, including 30 acres of adjoininmg land known as Canons Scituate.

Also all that arable land, sometime herebefore woodground commonly known by the name of Stockings Farme containing 75 acres (Stocken Farm), now or late in the occupation of Edward Stone and Elizabeth Lacey, widow, or one of their undertenants.

Also all the 90 acres of arable land called the ? land belonging to the Rectory and Parish Church of Princes Risborough in the common fields of Princes Risborough lately in the possession of Thomas Coltard.

To have and to hold Brooke House, lands and one month half part of the tithes by Thomas Saunders and William Abraham for one whole year yielding the rent of one peppercorn at Michaelmas only if the same be demanded by virtue of the statute for transferring of uses into the possession of Thomas Saunders and William Abraham enabling the inheritance to them and their heirs .... the last few lines not readable
