This indenture made the 14 April 1632. And the eighth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord Charles by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King defender of the faith BETWEEN William Wydsor of the parish of Chepping Wycombe in the county of Buck gent and Susan Bis ??? of the parish of Chepping Wycombe aforesaid widow on the one partie and Joan Chibnall of Princes Risborough in the said County of Buck widow and Edmund Gregorie the Younger of Cookham in the county of Oxon gent on the other partie. WHERAS our late sovereign ladie Queen Elizabeth by her letters patent under the great seale of England bearing date the fifteenth day of January in the twentieth year of the reigne (1578)of our said late Sovereign Ladie Queen for the rent considerations therein expressed did demise grant and to farm lett unto one Thomas Cornwallis Esqire deceased amongst other things ALL THAT therein demised lands meadows seedings pastures and commons called the Parish of Princes Risborough in the county of Buck as the ??? in the letters patent particularly named verified bound let forth and expressed AND all the signed houses cottages edifices meadows feeding pastures lands and whatsoever in Princes Risborough aforesaid in the said county of Buck with all their rights members and appurtenances then or late in the tenure of one Elizabeth Pigott for and during the terme of fiftie years from the end expiration or other determination of a former lease thereof made AND WHEREAS also by the late Queen Anne by her Indenture under the great seale bearing the date the four and twentieth day of October in the ninth year of our late sovereign Lord King James of England (1612) fore the consideration therein expressed hath given granted demised and to farm letten unto one Henry Knollys Esquire
for and during the whole term of twenty one years from the expiration of the former estate at and under the rate and covenents therein contained AND WHEREAS the said Henry Knollys and his wife by their indenture bearing the first day of December in the sevententh year of the raigne of the said late King James have assigned the said premises unto one William Inkett AND WHEREAS one messuage called or known by the name of Stocking and tenn acres of land now or late in the tenure or occupation of one Henry Lacey or of his assignes and one acre of meadow called Bedmeade with their appurtenances and parcell of the said demense and premisses as aforesaid demised AND whereas also the said William Inkett deceased and Elizabeth his wife and John Housey Knight deceased by their indenture bearing date the tenth day of January in the ??? year of the reign of our sovereign Lord King Charles that now is for the consideraton therein expressed HAVE demised the said messuage called Stockings and the said tenne acres of land and one acre of meadow and oher things therein mentioned (except therein excepted) unto the said Susan Biscowe from the feast of St Michael the Archangel last before the ate of the said Indenture for and during the terme of thirty five years from thence next ensuing and following still to be completed and ended NOW THIS INDENTURE witnesseth that the said William Wydsor and Susan Biscrowe as well for and in consideration of the sum of fiftie and five pounds of lawful money of England unto them in hand paid by the said William Inkett paid by the said Joane Chibnall before the ensealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof the said William Widsor and Susan Biscrowe do by these presents acknowledge and of every part and parcel thereof and abslutely aquit and exonerate and discharge the said Joan Chibnall and her executors administrators and assignes and everyy of them by these presents AND also for divers other good and valuable thereunto especially moving HAVE granted bargained sold assigned and sett over. AND by these presents do grante sell assigne and sett over unto the said Edmund Gregorie his executors administratos and assignes the said messuage or tenement and premisses with their appurtenances in the said last recited Indenture demised granted and therey meant or metioned to be demised or granted or thereby meant or mentioned to be demised or granted and also the said recited indenture and all other deeds evidences and writings pertaining to the said premisses or any part or parcel thereof which now are in the hands or custody of the said William Wydsor and Susan Biscrowe or in the hands or custody of any person or persons to their or either of their use or uses which they or either of them can come by ??? AND all the estate right title interest terme and number of years and rent and demande whatever of them the said William Wydsor an Susan Biscrowe or either of them of in or unto the said messuage and premises of and unto any part or parcel thereof AND the said William Wyndsor doth for himself his executors administrators and assigns and for every of them do ?? promise and grant unto and with the said Joane Chibnall her executors administrators and assignes by and unto and with every of them these pesents in manner and frme following viz - that for and notwithstandng any matter or thing whatever had made committed or done or ????// permitted or suffered to be done by the said William Wyndsor and Susan Biscrow or by the said William Inkett or Elizabeth his wife their own or either of theirexcutors administrators or assignsor by any other person or persons whatsoever anything having or lawfully having to have in thesaid messuage andpremisses or in any part or parcel thereof by from or under them any or either of them the said messuae lande and premisses and every part or parcel thereof with their appurtenances are free and their or upon reasonable request in that behalf to be made shall be saved and kept harmless of and frm all and all manner of forme and other gifts grante bargaines sales leases surrenders forfietures rent ??? of rent titles troubles changes and incumbrances whatsoever ONE Indenture bearing date the 13th day of August in the eighteenth year of the reign of the late King James whereby the said William Inkett demised the said messuage and premisses unto the said Henry Lacey for one and twenty years from the feast of St Michael the Archangel then next cominge at ans under the yearly rent of four pounds and five shillings and one couple of capons which during the said term shall be due and payabe unto the said Joane Chibnall and her assignes on the excepted and terms And that for and not withstanding any ? or things done as aforesaid (except before excepted) the said William Wydsor and Susan Biscrowe have or one of them hath good right full power and lawfull aurthority to grant and assign the said messuage and premisses and every part and parcel thereof with their appurtenances manner and forme aforesaid AND that it shall and may be lawful unto and for the said Edmund Gregorie his executors administrators and assignes quietly and peaceably to have and to hold occupie and possess the said messuage land and preisses and every part and parcel thereof with their appurtenances according to the trueintet and meaning of these present without the lawfull sett trouble expelsion interrupcon or disurbance of them the said William Wyndsor and Susan Biscrowe or either of them of their executives administrators assigns or anything having or lawfullyclaiming to have in the said messuage land and premisses or in part or parcel thereof by from or under them or any of them or by from or under the said William Inkett and Jerome Hoursey or any other persons whatsoever any thing having or lawfully claiming to have in the said messuage lande and premisses or in any part or parcel thereof by from or under them any or other (except before excepted) AND that they the said Wyndsor and Susan Biscrowe their executors administrators and assignes and all and every person and persons whatsoever any thing having or lawfully claiming to have in the said messuage and premisses or in any part or parcelllllllllllllllllllllllllll thereof by from or under them or any of them or by from or under the said William Inkett and Jerome Hoursey or any claiming by from or under them any or either of them (THE executors administrators and assignes of the said HENRY LACEY for the said lett years in the said messuage and premisses excepted) shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter occuring the ? and ? years next ensuing the date of the presents at the ??? and at the only cost and changes of the law of the said Joane Chibnall and her executives administrators and assignes or one of them do make acknowledge express and perform all and every thing lawful and reasonable act and thing devise assurences in the law for the further strengthening of these presents
